Dairies

Dairies produce wastewater rich in buttermilk, fats and organic residues that require specific treatment:

Removal of suspended solids and grease: Disc and tubular diffusers allow adequate aeration in biological treatment tanks, improving the degradation of grease and suspended solids.
Intermittent aeration processes: In some systems, intermittent aeration with disc diffusers allows organic buildup to be digested efficiently, supporting the biological cycles necessary to treat nutrient-laden water.
